. . . there was somthing called NaNoWriMo 2009.  Right.  Well, I made it to about 1,000 words, and the story turned out to be not so compelling.  It was an idea I’d been kicking around for awhile, but it was not ready to be written.  Sometimes I think ideas have a time, and they refuse to be written any earlier.  Of course, if that’s the case, I could also totally miss the time, and never write it at all.  But I think someday this one will have it’s time. 

The other thing that happened, a pleasantly surprising thing, was that I’ve been busy revising my 2008 NaNoWriMo novel, and I found that I couldn’t put that story aside, or even share it with another novel.  I’ve been completely sucked into its world and I don’t want to leave,  So, I will keep pushing through the rewrite, and get it done, and maybe come this November, I’ll be ready to start on its sequel.
